Well, last weekend i was playin gears 3 wit my dude an the drive was makin an unusual noise while reading the disc, didnt think much.... ive been playn la noire just got done with disc 2 and i restarted my xbox, and when it came back on all the discs (legit and burnt) it will say play game for like 10 seconds with no picture, then it will say unrecognized disc. the xbox is a dam zephyr so shes got some age, i figured the drive just went out so i ordered a new one (lite on dg....dont remember the rest lol) im assuming i can just take the drive and switch the key with the key from the old one??? or will i have to completly flash it.
