In my opinion, Fallout 3 was more of a challenge but the missions weren't as satisfying as Fallout: New Vegas.

Comment which one you think is the better Fallout.

I liked the fact that you could aim down the sights in New Vegas. Made VATS not as necessary.

Most people prefer Fallout 3 but I actually liked New Vegas more. I just felt that there was much more to do!

Fallout 3

I'll try my best to state why

The weapons are better, the side-quests are better, the DLC add-ons are better.

The whole area and layout of Capital wasteland has a better feel than the Mojave wasteland in my eyes. Yes the storyline of New Vegas is better but the storyline of the game is about 5% of the game itself meaning it doesn't really matter

The DLC's (The pitt, Operation: Anchorage, Point lookout, Mothership zeta and Broken steel) all have completely different sets of quests that are interesting (You get to go into space!)

For me, it took me a lot longer and kept me more entertained than New Vegas did but NV isn't very far behind

I prefer Fallout 3.
Here's why:

Fallout 3:
-The story satisfied me more, it also felt much longer.
-DLC kept me much more entertained.
-I'm able to replay the game more.

Fallout NV
-I liked the atmosphere.
-The extra options they added, I loved.
-Factions were amazing
-Bought all of the DLC's, beat two, went half way through one and never even got close to beating the last one.

Honestly, both games are really amazing. I loved Fallout 3 for it's story, but New Vegas was obviously a more updated Fallout.
