Yeah you could try it. My friend had is account hacked and the person kept my friends account and would sign on and it would sign him out and then he eventually just stole it, then my friend called Microsoft and told them what happened had to prove it was his account and he got it back, he would mod his account sometimes. Just don't mention you where modding it at all just say you where playing with some friends and and it signed you out and gave you that message and then everything else in the original post and then they will probably ask you to prove it's your account( security question or credit card if you have one or parents name if they made the account for you) or ask you more questions. If you have to lie do it, meaning if you ever modded/tampered or anything like that say no.

did you have a paypalor credit card on the acc if so call microsoft and tell them that ok and give them the info last 4 digits
