It will probably be more along the lines of you when you buy a used copy of battlefield 3 for example where you have to pay a small sum to play it online it will more then likely be something like that. or think about it this way take a game like dead space or mass effect where there a multiply parts to the series and when they come out with a new one some people might want to jump on the band wagon and find out they like it and want to play the original.. the chances your going to find a unused copy is slim to none..
