I'm OCD about that stuff, too.
It's most likely because they are children who are too young to have a Facebook, so they post on TTG.

That or they're afraid to ask their friends/parents what to do.

If you are so OCD about grammar and literacy, why can't you use correct grammar yourself? You have a major run-on sentence in the first sentence I quoted. Seriously, this is basic 4-5th grade education and yet you implement a major run-on sentence in a post ranting about improper grammar being annoying. Secondly, you started a sentence with a conjunction. Nice one. Again, these mistakes are at the elementary level. I suggest you go to school first and learn proper grammar before you attempt to rant on other individuals grammar.
