This is honestly a hard choice to make, both great games.

Assassins Creed 3 has a better story imo, which is more in depth than Far Cry 3's. Completing the story takes a good 5-8 hours whereas I found FC3 only took around 3-4.

If you've played the last assassins creed games I'd get 3, to learn the end of the story.

yah i only get AC# if youve played all of the others. ive only played them since brotherhood and AC# just got boreing real quick to me i feel all AC games are like the same but they try to change the setting.

I would say FC3, cause you have much more to do in this game, and multiplayer is way better than AC.

EDIT: AC3 is still one of the best games of the year, but only buy it if you prefer solo to multiplayer.

I've heard very good things about both games. Maybe buy one and rent the other?
