N. Korea to aim nuclear missiles at US

N. Korea to aim nuclear missiles at USPosted:

So if you haven't been watching the news, North Korea very recently announced they will be aiming their nuclear missile tests at the United States. But why is this news so sudden? For years the N. Koreans have admitted to testing and researching Nuclear missiles, but have claimed them to be for 'peaceful' reasons.. Now they have proclaimed their true intentions, to attack their "Arch enemies, the US and Japan". They now have a lot more freedom in what they do, as secrecy is less of a concern.
US satellites have confirmed repairs on Korean nuclear stations.

What do you guys think will happen? Will there be a war? If they do decide to attack, they will do so with the Chinese as allies. However, the Japanese are also at risk (having colonised North Korea), will they be forced to forget the past in allying with America?
In my opinion, I genuinely have absolutely no clue. I don't know who would win, but I have some reasons as to why America would..
Firstly as a superpower (and having been an Ally in the 1940's), America has built enough respect and power to earn the support of the British, French, German, Canadian and possibly Russian.
Secondly, America being the bully it is, has commanded the rights to work on nuclear warfare for over 50 years, with Korea only having launches 3 nukes since 1990. Their military also has an enormous budget, with possibly the most advanced air and land vehicles in the world.
The Koreans on the other hand, have been thought to hate the americans since kindergarten.

They have a well respected leader they actually want to risk their lives for. On top of that, they will be allies with the Chinese (who's new upcoming leader is pro-war) who themselves had an army of over 2.25million in 2006

I know this all sounds very hypothetical, but no, none of this is fiction. The chance of a war directed at US citizens is being more realistic every day.

Interesting stuff, i doubt thered be a war though. There probably just trying to theaten us. If there was, wed surely win in my opinion.

Do you know what the Americans did to the Koreans? Anyway I highly doubt it.. They gain nothing from threatening the Americans, but everything from attacking. Why else do you think the US allows other countries to develop nukes, but not N. Korea?

I doubt north Korea would start the end of the world - because let's face it if they set one off, everyone would have a competition to see who had the biggest, or who could destroy the most.

America can't defeat Korea without killing half their population. Korea don't give a damn about their population, and will never get past the USA defense systems anyways..
If the USA attacked Korea, then China would jump to defend them.
And China v USA is something nobody wants. The worlds two super powers. We'd all be screwed.

Actually your wrong about Russia. Most of Russia hates america and Russia is allies with China so they would take up with China

Actually, that's why I said possibly. Try taking your ideas past text-book knowledge. If Russia attacked the USA, they would have everyone else in Europe hammering them from the west, AND the US attacking from the east. We all know how that turned out for Hitler.
The smartest thing for Russia to do (in my opinion) WOULD be to ally with America, as it would create a trust that hasn't been since the Cold War.
