So I have the VisualBoy emullator for playing pokemon games on my laptop. For some reason when I download a Rom , it comes up as the wrong file type. Is there anyway I can change it? Its a Pokemon Crystal Rom. Somehow a long time ago I changed the file type to " VisualBoy" on accident, and now everytime I re-download it , it is downloaded with that file type and I cant run it. So does anyone know how to change it back? please help and thanks.
