It was much better imo. A lot of modded lobbies, nicer community, WAY less spam, WAY less wannabes, having Gold was something, etc. The site was blue from I think '09 to '12 up until the release of TTG V4. A lot of the bad stuff came around when those split screen bind lobbies came about. People leeched and everyone was able to host if they left their Xboxes on. That's also when a lot of lobbies that derank you or f*cked with your stats appeared as well. This was more or less a year ago, but whenever people made threads related to their IRL inquiries, the responses they got were "This is TTG, not Facebook," which people even had as their sigs. Ah, good times lmao. There was also that side debate about TTG vs that other site, not sure if I can say it, but it has the number 7.

I wish I would have found TTG back then and could have seen it grow. Sucks now that there are more scammers/leechers.
