Why do these topics always pop up near his birthday

At my middle school in 6th grade we sampled all 4 languages we could take in 7th and 8th grade (Italian, Spanish, Latin, and French) and when we sampled Latin the teacher was this old guy that always told us stories. One of his stories was he was at a laundromat and saw Elvis (this was after he died) and he started talking to him and bought him a pack of beer. Then he told us about how at a school he used to teach at he had Elvis come and get his car washed. He really believed it was Elvis, but I doubt it. Haha 1234((

I've heard everything about the "King of Rock and Roll" seeing as how I am from Tennessee. So, all in all, Elvis is not alive, no matter what conspiracies people have or anything. He wouldn't leave his home in Graceland, TN even if he was alive and why would he fake his death seeing as how much of a Role Model he was?
