well i'm trying to move my profile on to a usb stick, and it won't let me. i moved another xbox live profile on to it fine. why can't i do it on mine?

when yu try to move it to a usb if it doesnt let yu i do i turn it off then back on then i move it and it works ok

thats what i do ok if it doest let yu ok turn yur xbox off then back on then try to move it ok works for me

My good friend added me to his family gold. When I gave him all my info (I trust him). He recovered my GT right there and then. I was still online and on my house phone aswell. I was talking to him the whole time. I was still signed into xbox live as he recovered it. He did all this with me getting kicked of xbl somehow lol GLITCH lol But I never had to recover it back.. I was just instantly added to his family gold pack. Now... Here is where I had the same issue.. I couldnt move the profile to a usb. I finally figured out that I had to recover my GT just to move it. I dont know if this helps you at all..
