you dont even know what your talking about as a patch is a modified file for a unsigned firmware to mod a game, if you want to update from 3.55 to 4.30 you use the PS3UPDATE.PUP to upgrade to Rogero CFW but there are chances you can get ylod as the software runs at a faster speed than others i would go on to rebug 4.21 safest one.

Yes you can downgrade to a 3.55 to be able to host mate don't listen to these people they don't know what they are talking about that's how I host I brought a 4.30 ps3 then I had to downgrade it to 3.55

hey now i know what im talking about....maybe you can help me out with something tho i was recently converting CEX to DEX and all went well... come to finde out you cant unban a DEX ps3 yet so i wanted to go back to CEX well when i flashed back to my CEX.EID0.NORBIN in rebug i forgot that i was on 3.55 when i made the flash and i was currently on 4.21 then when i turn off ps3 by remote it was bricked with 5 consecutive 2 beeps then turns off maybe you can help??
