Just curious. Personally I think Peterson. Of course I'm biased being a Vikings fan but having one of the best season ever rushing, while carrying your team to the playoffs as a running back, should not be ignored. Peyton did this, both came back from injuries. However, peyton has a way better supporting cast than Peterson, and is in a position To do this way easier at quarterback. Any average QB could have gotten the broncos in the playoffs with the division they are in. They have a number 2 ranked defense, the worst division, and only beat 2 teams all year with winning records, losing to the 3 elite teams they played. Vikings are in the hardest division, and AP has no passing support from ponder, and an average defense. The vikings would obviously be more successful with manning than peterson. That is just due to the nature of the nfl. When a running back does a quarterbacks job like this, Putting the team on their back, its something special. I'm not trying to take anything away from manning. He is undoubtly one of the best quarterbacks of all time. I just think this year Peterson deserves it more.

Aaron-Rodgers wrote aaron rodgers kinda sucked this year.

He did pretty well considering he has the highest qbr and is right up there with Peyton, plus he won the hardest division in the nfl.
If only he had an O line 51 sacks...

honestly Adrian Peterson should be MVP because of his incredible turnaround season that he is having, what with the injury and all and then almost breaking the record for single season rushing yards

Although he didn't break the record, an argument can be made for him having the most miraculous season of any running back. Dickerson got a good 20-30 more rushes than AP, and considering he came off an acl tear he should have been anywhere near that record. One season that comes to mind is OJ Simpson getting 2,000 in 14 games. However, he still got more rushes than Peterson did. I think it'll be hard to overlook the fact that this is one of the greatest seasons every by a running back. Sadly, only half of the 2,000 yard rushers have won it, losing to quarterbacks (who else)

Brady is my favorite QB. But I have to say Peyton. To come off a season of rust with an arm surgery too and carry the Broncos to a 13-3 season is pretty impressive. I will agree Adrian has had a HELL of a season rushing too. I say it'll be between Adrian & Peyton.
