I had a i3 @3.07GHz

Now I am gettting a AMD 6 core precessor @2.8 turbo @3.2.... Is the one im getting now better?

The computing power your getting from the i3 probably outmatches the amd.

aha I am, a specialist said the six core will out beat the i3 any day in editing programs etc. so thats what I need

I would like to look at some benchmarks so can someone tell me what CPU he is talking about. There are a few 6 core processors by AMD. I would just like to put it side by side with a i3 on anandtech.
