I am thinking about RGH modding my xbox but it has the open tray issue. I understand you need to install the game to xexmenu to use it, but obviously I wouldn't be able to do that. Is there a way to get the files onto xexmenu without installing the game itself? I have another xbox that doesn't have the open tray error if that helps at all.

Nope you have to download the games to the XEX Menu that is the only way you can get the game on the XEX Menu. I was thinking that if you had the same kind of hard drive on your other xbox as your RGH xbox than you could download the game to the other xbox's hard drive and than put your other xbox's hard drive into the RGH but than you wouldn't have the XEX Menu on it..

Yes there is. You can download the RIP/ISO off sites like piratebay. Be aware though, they can take about 2 days to download/torrent. If you do this you do not need the disk tray and you can do everything a jtag/RGH that has a working disk tray can do.

What kinda console do you currently have? Phat? Slim? What dash?
The cool thing about a jtag/RGH is that you don't need discs.
For example you can rip or download a game on your computer, then transfer it via ftp with your computer to your jtag/RGH harddrive.

No, because you would not get a full RIP from a retail xbox. So you wouldn't have all the files.

You would need to fine the ISO's of the games that you would like to mod. Try looking on youtube for them or try piratebay.

my dvd is broken on my rgh & i download mw2 & cod 4 on piratebay n now everything is fine just tranfer with flashfxp or by usb

Would installing it on a retail console, putting onto the rgh console, using nxe2god, using god2iso then putting the iso through wx360 work?
