I just got a 30 day trial for adobe photoshop CS6 and made some quick stuff
not expecting anything above a 5/10

It is ok-ish, but you haven't really done too much, just added text and 3 images, and given them all shadows. You should try to remove the watermark from the crab image, or find a new one, and as for the fireball, you should consider editing out the white pixel edging.
Signature
The first one is somewhat poor as the Minecraft pickaxe looks obscure, if you are going to be working on such large canvas sizes, at least use all the space you can (Make the pickaxe bigger).
The second signature is much better, it looks clean and quite professional in my opinion. I like it.
