USG wrote I've heard the 'Bose' speakers are really good. I saw some with two speakers and a controller with a standard audio in auxiliary cable for about 120. I would suggest finding which speakers that match your price range and reading some reviews. Usually, you can find out everything you need to know from a professional review.

Bose is to speakers as apple is to computers. The companions are equal to creative t40s IMO.

We do actually have some BOSE Companion 3 speakers and they are good but the cheaper ones don't look like they'll have enough kick due to having no sub.

They'll fit your needs perfectly. Very good speakers for the price.

I spent 2.7k on Bose speakers, and I'll tell you now - they're shite.

Extremely expensive for something that performs as well as my logitech Z5500 I have in my Spanish house.

Stay well away from Bose. If you want good high quality speakers for a computer, you'll want to get studio monitors.

iKey audio are a good make for them.

Bose is so terrible that their entire business model is basically a scam. So don't recommend Bose. Logitech is mediocre.

I'm not the speaker guy here, so I'd recommend [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] if you want the best advice available on TTG. If you want something easy, the Microlob 6C and 7C have a pretty significant following where they're available. I'd recommend the Klipsch Promedia 2.1 if you can find it priced well, too. Still, there are better-performing options, these are just easy ones. You might also try lurking about and using the search function on dedicated audio forums like [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] and [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Ok thanks, the Klipsch are a but expensive and the C7's get terrible reviews but the C6's look nice. Might give Ishcabible a PM then, thanks.

And then you have rave reviews on the 7C.

Not that that's any sort of proper review with regards to sound, it just shows that the two on Amazon are not the only ones. If you're serious about audio quality, don't get any of these, though. When I say that, it doesn't mean you wouldn't be very happy with them.
