So I should 'defrag' and then delete everything?! As I want EVERYTHING gone? Or will it put all of the important things in there aswell?

defrag does not delete anything it re locates it. To delete everything sys. restore to the very farthest point

If you want to speed it up type in "run" then on the run program type in "msconfig". Then when that program loads up click on start-up at the top and you will be able to stop things from loading at start-up which you don't need for example Skype or iTunes Updater.
