To a point you are correct ..,The eye in the pyramid is a sign of freemasonry But what you fail to acknowledge is the fact that freemasonry has its roots in the illuminati.
There are three main elements that you can easly find within the history of the freemasons and they are ..,Religion the Templars and the illuminati.

So your saying you would believe a random article by a conspiracy theorist saying that freemasonry has to do everything with the illuminati. They have no ties with the so called group. Freemasons were giving bad names every since the group was made. They were no apart of the church and had secret meetings which the church believed was satanic work and were given the name satanists. This name has followed them all through the ages to where now they have been given the name illuminati. And for common knowledge, illuminati is latin for enlightened ones which can mean one with alot of wisdom. You cannot use wisdom to destroy the world. And i dont see why everybody believes the conspiracy. It leads to hating our government and believing they're evil. Then everybody believes them and says they are fighting, but the majority of the people who believe the conspiracy just sit on their a*s and watch tv, play "EX"-"BAWKS", or just tell all their friends and get their most mentally ill friend to join the brainwashing cult.

Nope. Illuminati isn't real, therefore they can't be evil or good.
They were at one point but they don't exist.

The Order of the Illuminati was created on May 1st 1776, also known as Mayday which is a sacred holiday to the Pagan religion. It is also a major holiday to most modern communists. The year 1776 also has some note in history. it was the year that the American Declaration Of Independence was created. Adam Weishaupt used the code name "Spartacus" (the gladiator who rose up against Rome). After WWI German communists called themselves "spartacists."

Weishaupt supported and fought for a revolution to overturn the current Social and Political systems currently in place. He was also a supporter of the end of all Religious orders.

He despised Judeo- Christian morals as well as the family unit and even wanted to dissolve the institution of marriage. He wanted to empower women by telling them they were being oppressed by men. His ultimate goal was the creation of a Global Government based on socialistic values. Most of his beliefs are now being enacted by modern day leftists.

The only reasons people claim that they don't exist is due to the movie 'Angels and Demons'. Which, cleverly done by he illuminati exposed them in this film so that anyone mentions the illuminati they're sad and overreacting because its just a movie, another example is 2012.
