Alright so I scratched my black ops 2 disk while getting up to get a drink the xbox crashed to the ground as if it was in slow motion, all I could do was watch. Any way I wanted to know is there a way to download the game to the hard drive without the disk maybe I could download the game onto my usb drive and then install it onto my xbox 360 since my disk is now destroyed because of a flawed console made by microsoft you would think they wouldve fixed this problem on the new slim consoles but no just touch screen buttons nd a built in network adapter not to mention its "sleek design"Thanks to everyone who answers this question + rep for all helpful answers !

No there is nothing you can do to install the game without the disc. You could try to get one of those disc cleaners which actually has worked in the past for me. Also, it's quite a tall order that you expect Microsoft to make a console that cannot fall over, why don't you just lay it flat?

I'm pretty sure if you dropped the PS3 it would scratch whatever disk was inside. The PS3 simply rests horizontally rather than vertically, and so it cannot tip over. It has nothing to do with the quality with which the machine was built, in fact, if either company were more worried about damage to a disk in the event of the toppling of a console, they would encase the console in rubber to absorb the shock of the fall. Please don't spout nonsense about things which you know nothing of.
