What's the diffrence between these unlocking and jail breaking an iPhone I'm trying to put an iPhone on a different service that doesn't have iPhones if someone could tell me the diffrence between the two or if there is any it would be a lot of help thank you! I will rep the first few people that help!

Unlocking is what you need to do its when you disconnect it from the provider and you can connect it to a new one

A jailbreak can offer services that apple does not allow.
'Locking' refers to when a company E.g. Vodaphone
creates special deals but it is only valid for vodaphone. That way you dont switch network you are restricted to that specific company.
Shops do unlock phones though. When they do, the process is called 'unlocking'
