Problem: Account Susspended

The Message i recive on my xbox, says i need to update my payment option. When i search the message on the xbox website it says
"Your Xbox LIVE Gold subscription expired, and when our billing service tried to bill the credit card listed in your account"
but my subscription does not end untill 17/01/2013

My payment method was paypal @ Vince.Bradley@****.com . but i removed all my cards from paypal.
when i look at my payment methods on xbox website and try to remove my PayPal Account it says

PayPal vince.bradey@*****.com is the payment option attached to the subscriptions below. Before removing PayPal vince.bradey@*****.com, please attach all the subscriptions to another payment option.

There is no option to subscribe with a xbox redeem card. Also why is my account susspended a month before my subscription runs out?
not happy i had no warning, its a month before it ran out, and it was on Doubble XP Weekend for COD Black ops 2

Turns out if you remove a card and have renewal on, it takes like 30 days before they block your account, no warning, was a pain, got my account active again today though, after a long queue in xbox live live support
