But in all fairness you deserved it. Everyone gets jokes made about them, do you see them hurting eachother? Your excuse is "I'm short, wah!". You don't need to be able to beat someone up to stand up for yourself lol.

I'm not quite sure why anyone would deserve to be made fun of. I understand when people pick on each other, but some people take it way further than that. No one deserves to actually be made fun of. That could be considered emotional abuse and could lead to mental scarring. So yes, it does hurt people. True, no one needs to be able to beat someone up in order to stand up for themselves, but if the guy decides to hit you for standing up, that's a problem. That's where self defence would need to come in, and that is where you would need to beat someone up.

Lol you don't need to hit anyone to prove a point you'll just look ignorant. It was a joke. Everyone can laugh about themselves sometimes.

I know people can laugh at themselves. That is what I was calling 'picking on each other.' Making fun of is more on a daily basis and never with the intent on making you laugh. Someone picking on you every one in a while is ok if you really know the person and are ok with it. No one deserves to actually be made fun of though. That's something entirely different. Someone actually made a comment about me being a nerd once. I laughed and told him, "I know." He came up to me lightly pushing me wanting to fight. Since I was a freshman and he was either a senior or junior (he was a foot taller than me), plus the fact I was carrying a 50-70lb desk down the hall, I wasn't stupid enough to try anything. If I were to have punched him, I would see nothing ignorant about it. If I wasn't carrying that desk, I most likely would have done it. It would have been to stand up for myself. It would be one of those moments where my strict parents would have even been proud. Nothing is cool about bullies or bullying. Anytime someone stands up to one, someone in the world should be proud.
