A Small Tip
It is recommended that you are experienced when doing this as you can easily get 80 kills and 25,000XP per game depending on what you are doing e.g: If you go for assault shield kills you may get 60 or 70 kills or 130. Also, if you are playing with somebody who can skip their second controllers killcam and place their tactical insertion quickly, you will get more kills & therefore, more XP but everybody is a beginner sometime.
What You Need
1. Another controller
2. Headset (Highly Recommended)
3. Tac. Insert. unlocked
4. Fast Hands (Perk 2) unlocked
5. Patience
6. Maturity
7. Organizational skills (especially if host)
8. Good communication skills
1-3 are most definitely required (unless you & your partner can come to an agreement).
4-8 are recommended for best efficiency but not all required.
How to Boost in HQ
Your Second Controller Class
1. Tactical Insertion (Tactical)
2. Fast Hands (Perk 2)
If you do not have these, do not worry, you can use the default class that has the automatic shotgun on it for it also has the tactical insertion. If you do not have this class because you have unlocked extra CAC slots after prestiging then the only other option is to sign in on another account (that has XBL Gold) on your second controller. If you cannot do that then you cannot boost effectively in HQ, you may be able to come to an agreement with your partner but remember that your partner may struggle to manage 40-50 kills which is a third of what they have the potential to get. If you wish to get high killstreaks which boost your K/D then putting 'Scavenger' in one of your main controllers custom class will help majorly.
Recommended Score Streaks
1. UAV
2. Counter-UAV
3. Orbital VSAT
The reason I say these is because if you have all three in the air at one time you get an additional +30 points for every kill one of your teammates gets.
Other scorestreaks can be good such as lightning strike placed outside of the map, any are good that you know WON'T kill anybody (Swarm, Escort Drone etc. are not really acceptable). If you want to complete challenges I guess you can use scorestreaks that have the ability to not kill people (Care Package, Dragonfire, Lightning Strike etc.).
How To Do It (Step-By-Step)
1. Get 6 players who have all have a second controller and tell them to get them connected and signed in.
2. Agree on partners (For example, A+B, C+D & E+F)
3. Now get two parties (in the game), Party 1 consisting of A, C & E. Party 2 having B, D & F.
4. Both parties now go on to 'Public Match' and give everybody enough time to create their desired classes.
5. The person who is hosting 'Party 1' search for a HQ game ('search preferences = best' is the best I have found)
6. a) The leader of the 'Party 2' get ready to join either A, C or E when a member of 'Party 1 says so.
6. b) 'Party 1' must find an empty lobby, if you find a game with people, leave immediately as you may be reported for boosting.
7. Once 'Party 2' has connected to 'Party 1' invite your partner to 'Private Chat', this is not necessary but is recommended because it is easier to communicate.
8. a) Select a class for both controllers then arrange where to meet your partner.
8. b) For efficiency, get your guest to stand in front of your partner and make your partner place their guest in front of you.
How To Get A High K/D Easier
For this all you need to do is get your sentry gun and kill your partners guest continuously, you get 25XP so you have less chance of going over the XP in-game cap. For example, if you get 100 kills with a gun, you would get 10,000XP, if you get 100 kills with a sentry gun, you'll be at only 2,500XP.
Quick Tips
1. Stay under 20,000 score in the in-game leaderboards. People have gained nothing from going past that and it is rumored that 20K is the XP cap. If you get 19,000 in-game score, a 100 kill streak and complete 5 challenges you will be looking at around 30,000XP
2. If you want to earn more score then get your partner to place their guest in the HQ. In order for you to get more XP/Score from this you must be walk into the HQ (until it says it is contested) and kill your partners guest. After you have done that immediately back out of the HQ area until your partners guest has spawned and placed their tactical insertion. Although an extra 25XP or so seems a lot, if you get 50 defender kills, that is an additional 1250XP which isn't all that bad.
3. Keep an eye on the killfeed of in-game leaderboard. If a member of the boosting lobby leaves or gets disconnected be cautious. I would recommend opening the leaderboard via your guests controller and waiting until it says people are joining. If the person you had in for boosting re-joins, continue. If 2 random players join, leave immediately before they have fully connected to the game as you have a high chance of being reported and the chance of a ban is increased.
4. You are doing this at your OWN risk. I am not taking responsibility for anybody being banned, if you do this correctly and follow most, if not all, of what I have said then you should have a slim chance of being banned.
