First time buying a RGH console, my question is; is it really worth the extra money to get a Slim RGH compared to a Jasper RGH? I know the Slim is quieter, and, well, slimmer. My current retail console sounds like a dying horse when i turn it on, so it'd be nice to have something that isn't so loud. But are there any other reasons why I should get one over the other? I am willing to spend the extra money, as long as it's worth it. But I'd rather cut corners so I have more money to spend on other things. Opinions? Thanks in advance.

After having a handful of Falcons, Jaspers, like you I was just tired of this ugly loud dinosaur console. While all my friends had slims, I spent the extra money and got a demon dual nand slim and I've been very happy, super quiet, quick boot. Liked it so much I bought a triple nand slim to, gave all my phats to my friends, now they want a dual nand slims.

I have a jasper they both do the same thing just depends if you want a quit jtag or a little noisy jtag I have had my jasper for a while and it hasnt been a problem yet.
