It seems like on Black Ops 2 specifically I can't hear footsteps. Its as if everyone is always using dead silence but, when I look at their class they're not using it. On previous CODs I could easily kill someone and then turn around and kill another because I heard him coming, on Blops 2 that doesn't happen to me anymore. Has anyone else been experiencing this because to me it feels like Treyarch did the same thing as Blops 1 were no matter what you were using your footsteps were for the most part inaudible.

Its just the way the game was made, you wont hear someones footsteps unless you are right up close to them.

Heres some tips:

    Unlock the Awareness perk with a prestige token (It makes footsteps louder)
    Use dead silence
    Set your Audio Settings to "Supercrunch"

they have basically eliminated sound whoring in this game. Unless, of course, you use "Awareness". I wouldn't recommend that you use this unless you have a nice head set. The guy above me had some good advice too.
