Hello guys im trying to get the achivement for adopting a child in the dawnguard dlc. Only problem is when i walk into the orphanage the woman is scared of me and trys to run so i cannot open the chat dialogue with her to adopt a child.
I've tried reverting saves but their is still no fix. Please if you guys have any ideas on how to fix this please share thanks!

Cool story, adoption isn't even a part of the Dawnguard DLC. It's actually part of Hearthfire.

The adoption feature comes with Hearthfire, so only listen to what I am about to say to you if you have that... You can adopt a child in the centre of the Whiterun town, where the Shrine of Talos is and where all the benches are will be a little girl who is homeless and needs a kind parent(s) to comfort her, you (Dragonborn) are going to take that role.
Make sure you have a bed for her in one of your houses otherwise you will not be able to adopt her.
Happy Gaming!

No problem, it's very annoying when you have problems like what you were on the game. I couldn't do the Companion quest line because I pissed of one of the main companions so I had to restart my Game, this should really be fixed as it kind of counts as a bug but in a way it doesn't, but before I go anymore further which I could talk about this all day, your welcome!
