Hey guys, i'm building this for a friend
What do you think?

Case - Zalman Z9 | [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
GPU - Radeon HD 7770 | [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
PSU - Antec VP-450 (Do i need a 500w or will 450 do?) | [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
RAM - G.skill Ripjaw series 8GB (1600 MHz) | [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
MOBO - LGA 1155 ASrock motherboard | [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
CPU - Intel core i3-2120 Sandy bridge | [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
*He took his grandpa's computer apart and took some parts from it - The Hard Drive and the DVD drive*

What would you rate this?

Drop the i3 bro, i would recomend a amd x4 if you go cheap. As the amd is much faster for a reasonable price
You are missing a lot of stuff btw. You need a cpu cooler...

It would be ok for a while but with the newer games coming computer are needed a lot better specs i'd at least try getting the i5 2500k and maybe a 570/580 GPU.

Amd are not faster. You don't need a CPU cooler. The CPU already comes with one... You are not going to be overcloacking it....

Um, for the price, the i5 3570k is the same price - and it's newer?
570/580 what? Quadro FX? Nvidia GTX? The 7770 will be sufficient for him.

you said that you were gonna use a old hard drive? you best make sure that its compatable
