Hey ttg, I'm just about to order my new rig and just wanted to know if the 2gb 7870 is worth the extra money compared to the 7850. Thanks

Raedon 7870 has:
1000MHz Engine Clock
2GB GDDR5 Memory
1200MHz Memory Clock (4.8 Gbps GDDR5) priced at 210

Raedon 7850 has:
860MHz Engine Clock
2GB GDDR5 Memory
1200MHz Memory Clock (4.8 Gbps GDDR5) priced at 120

Just compare the specs.
7870 has 1000 MHz Engine Clock
7850 has 860
then the rest are the same, however if you're looking to save some money, go with the 7850.

Based on the prices I'm guessing you're in the UK. The thing about these cards is that they're both the best options at their respective price points and it's impossible to recommend one over the other without knowing your current specs, games you play, and how much you want to spend.
