heres how to do it... if it worked for u please thumbs up and rep.. thanks btw.. it worked for me just got my code so heres is the tutorial:
1st: Call 1-800-4MYXBOX
2nd: Go to the accesories section
3rd: Tell the guy you bought Halo: Reach Legendary Edition from Best Buy and the flaming helmet code is invalid.
4th: He will then probably ask if you used the other codes, say YES. He then say it's un-returnable since best buy doesn't return opened items and you used two of the codes.
5th: He will ask you for the code, get any 1600 or regular recon code and give it to him but, change some of the letters and numbers. Then he will put you on hold.
5th: He will ask you a few questions for ex: what's your phone number.... Just answer them and be truthful.
6th: He will then transfer you to a specialist the specialist will ask you your code again, just give him a fake one.
7th: He will probably ask you a few dumb questions while he is getting some info....
8th: He will say sorry but, I can not give you a code at this time I'm going to sent this problem to higher management, you will be getting a call within the next 72 hours, when they call you they will give you a code and there you go you got any of the reach items for FREE!

This scheme is used just like any other thing... Lol it always turns out as a fail as well.

Doubt this works for a few reasons:
1) Microsoft doesn't give away free 1-time codes.
2) How would they access a code for you to use when all of the codes are packaged up in Halo: Reach Legendary Edition boxes?
2a) How would they create a new, un-used code for a already released game for you to use?
3) Microsoft isn't this dumb, this scam has been going around for 2 years now.. they caught on.
