Like I said, demographics. I'm sure they paid some guys who are intelligent with this sort of thing. They would check stuff like "Who's buying the game?" and "What day is this age group most likely to buy a video game?." They would then weigh pros and cons of each day and decide on a specific one. Hell, maybe it's just the day the founder was born on. Lol

Weird, csuse for sure, i would go to midnight release on a friday night, rather then a tuesday. But you seem to bring up a really good point

Tuesday is the standard release day for games, CDs, blu-rays, etc. I don't know why. Halo 4 and AC3 were released on a Tuesday aswell.

Lol, all video games are released on Tuesday unless specified otherwise.
For example, Skyrim was released on a friday.

Probably by the end of the monday before, most people would have realised wha a shit week they are going to have so they release it on the tuesday to stop people killing themselves.
