I don't know about PS3 players, but personally I HATE things such as UPlay Passport and the EA Online Pass, if I want to buy a game second hand I WILL! I have actually LOST my Uplay passport for AC Revelations, and they say I need to BUY a new one. I already pay 40 a YEAR simply so I can play online and they want me to pay more, I am okay with paying the 40 a year for live, I am okay with paying for my internet provider and then I go buy a game, the come back to play it later and find out I have lost the password to play online with it so I have to pay MORE to play the game.. It cost me 30 new, and I need another 800msp (About 6) just to play it? This is all just a money hungry scam by the gaming industry, AC3 is meant to be the highest selling game THIS YEAR out selling SKYRIM yet we have to pay extra to play online, **** YOU EA AND UBISOFT!
