i put a switch on the blue wire on my slim and the only place i really liked the switch was right in front of the fan where the shroud is and the bottom of the switch was too big to keep it in, is it okay that i ditched my air shroud?

may not need extra cooling for it to be perfectly fine and last. ive noticed that it gets a little hot on the bottom of the case and the fan seems to never ramp up speed and also the air from it feels too warm for me to like lol. so i wanted it to have the switch to use during hardcore sessions on bf3. cooler processors do run better no matter what the situation, fans are cheap and i don't care if it doesn't last long, ive noticed games do run a bit smoother too, don't hate

im going to buy this chip one day here soon when i get a clear case and a talismoon fan, going to get a smaller switch so i can hide it and hook it back up to the blue wire to have 12 volts when needed, this device makes the fan stay at 50 percent speed at all time and if the fan stops spinning it has a loud alarm that warns you [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
