Budget? That's kind of necessary.

Beasts are good idk what your talking about. I had solos but I snapped like 3 pairs, I moved onto studios, I've had them for a year, they are awesome. They completely cover your ear and you can use them as ear Warner's

Uhh...Sennheisers kind of suck unless you get to the HD600's level. The rest are outclassed save for the HD25.

The CX300 is an outdated joke.
The HD201 is really only worth it because they make sound. It's not really good sound.
The HD202 is pretty dang veiled.
The HD238 is outclassed by the Beyerdynamic DT235 and Audio Technica WS55 and likes being amped so that's another added cost.
The HD280 is in my opinion the worst <$50 circumaural headphone in existence. They don't do anything right; the bass is anemic and not very detailed, the midrange is nasal and not very detailed, the treble is shrill and not very detailed. And they're not very comfortable. At least the Beats sound okay for one genre; the HD280 sounds best when no music is playing.
The HD428 is quite fragile (I broke a pair on accident and their cable is way too thin) and grainy and beaten by the cheaper AKG K518 and Superlux HD681 technically.
The HD448 is okay, but the Koss DJPRO100 is better for cheaper and the AKG K271's price is plummeting to pretty close to the HD448. The K271 pretty much destroy them imo.
The HD598 is decent, but at that point, you might as well save up for a used HD600 unless you're positive you want a forward sound, but at that point, you have the AKG K601 to compare them to.

The HD25 is pretty good, but there are other options such as the V-Moda M80, Beyerdynamic T50p, and AKG K181DJ (which sound pretty close to the HD25 at half the price)

And I don't mean to sound like I'm hating on Sennheiser; the HD600 or HD650 is my next purchase, but really guys, Sennheiser makes a lot of crap.
