Not at all, AMD are great for low budget builds and never really seem to have a problem, although there's always going to be people that think that their 8 core series sh*ts on all Intel CPUs by default.

To any AMD fanboys, keep believing what you believe. When you decide to come to your senses you'll realize that AMD advertises massively high numbers but they mean close to nothing. Think about it, intel 6 core is $550-$1000, and AMD's "8 core" is $200? I know pricing doesn't mean much, but you have to consider why intel is that much more expensive..

Exactly, so they won't go out of business. Also, they make good low end CPU's which are miles cheaper than intel, and at the moment favourite. They're not terrible CPU's, but people that at least a little about computers will buy intel over AMD if money is no object.
