Ok, so my Xbox doesn't have a disk drive (it does but it is busted spence I unplugged it) and now I get this error every time I try to update it

If you come up with a solution I will come up with a way to repay you
Maybe like 13.00$?

Open up your xbox take out your disk drive put it back in try again if not get a new xbox

You'll need to reinsert the disk drive busted or not. Any missing or damaged parts won't allow it to update.

My Xbox is open, and spence I unplugged it it doesn't get power to it any more
:/
And hopefully I can get a new Xbox by christmas, maybe sooner

Try to update with a different account. Or cut it off for a few hours then try it with a different account. I had that same **** error code. Just wait it off

i had the same problem but mine was flashed and i was avoiding changes but it only works when its in there

Direct from XBox.com tied to the error code you are getting

The update could not be downloaded from Xbox LIVE. Try the following:
1.Try installing the update again.
2.If you're having problems connecting or staying connected to Xbox LIVE, see Xbox LIVE connection problems.

Note You can also update your console software by copying the update to a USB flash drive or CD. See Troubleshoot console software update problems.
