I love when people say Microsoft fails over the littlest as well as dumbest reasons. Don't like the Xbox? Switch consoles and stop complaining.

This is pointless and personally I think the IE on the xbox is pointless. It was cool for a day or two but be host, Does anyone even use it? I used it the first day I got the update. Haven't touched it since.

I made a tut on how to bypass adobe flash on YouTube.
Check my recent forums if you want it.
As for everything else, let time take its course. People are going to realize that now that people have access to the internet on a xbox they're going to make HTML 5 compatible versions of their sites. Besides, you could just view in Mobile mode and I think that will bypass a lot of things on it's own.
Runescape has already confirmed HTML 5. So now you'll be able to play Runescape on your xbox. I don't know how efficient that'll be but hell, the option is there.
Besides, I don't even know if PS3 has flash lol
I talked to Xbox Support a few days ago because I was asking about when I should receive the update and after that I asked him if Xbox would ever be able to run Java or Flash in IE and he said very unlikely.
That would bring too many security issues and it's better safe then sorry.

It's a CONSOLE based browser. The reason PS3 has flash is because it's Linux based, thus making it easier to port over. I'm pretty sure Microsoft is on the case with Adobe to get Flash but it WILL take time. Also, the reason it's on your cell phone, that's Linux based too. Case closed.

It is no Epic Fail. The reason you cannot download anything with IE, is to prevent malicious software from the console. There are Apps for videos and music , IE does not need the ability to provide videos to you. Just download the Apps.
