Doesn't sound fun but just start a new world.

i recieved the update yesterday, my world was put into a snow biome and all it done was snow snow snow, i got this too man i ended up deleting my world save

Conclusion: most biomes in my map have changed, even desert biomes now have snow in them

i had a large storage room and it happend to me what i did was just break the chest poor lava on the items then replace it in creative...

Yes i have an island map and there was never snow or ice.

NOW around my whole island there is ice. And snow.

Its retarded.

haha, you havent seen my world. its full of stuff

and even if i do, who to say it wont happen again?

well i've just seen a picture of hour map and it doesn't look like much at all from what i saw nothing was detailed itd maybe take an hour to rebuild in creative.

i know how to fix the chests if there all black get torchers and put them really close that will fix it that happend to me

the blocks just need updating, e.g. hitting them etc should work, usually does on PC.

If you destroy a block next to the glitched chest it fixes itself.
