step1.. put in usb or extra hard drive
step2.. make offline profile and save it to the usb or other hard drive
step3.. start up halo 4 offline ethernet cable out or router/modem off
step4.. save the game to your usb or other hard drive
step5.. your done with halo4 ? take game out and usb or other hard drive
plug router/moden back in and play like normal...

never try to go online or get the achievements unlocked on your main account thats an instant console ban...

Obviously this is going to work. If you go online or add an achievement to your live account it will just get flagged and get you banned. Play it offline with a different profile. Once the game comes out you can play it normally.
