I just did this for another poster and it works for you too! It's cheaper and better in some ways. What do you think?

If you want to overclock I'd go with the i7 2600k as you'll get better performance over the ivy bridgers due to the way the heat spreader is seated and how quickly temps rise when OC'ing , that or invest in a decent water cooling unit.

The SSD I would switch out for something like the GT120 by corsair or even the hyperX kingston SSD they come in @ 78 so still cheap but will be a bit quicker for you overall

did you mean 6970 for your GPU ?
if so save some money get a MSI 2gb 6950 , they have a OFFICIAL bios to unlock the 6970 shaders or grab the XFX DD 2gb 6950 it will still max out most games now at decent FPS + if you want to double up down the line the performance of 2x6950 2gb is slightly better than the 7970 now they've sorted out the micro stuttering with the new CCC

all in all though even without the changes it's a very nice build
