Hiya TTG, just thought i'd show you all my semi gaming/modding PC

So i have always preferred the consoles for gaming but since i got an addiction to Minecraft i ventured to the my PC due to the lack of creative on the xbox, and well i fell in love with it and decided to upgrade my pc for both modding (which is what its always done and now semi gaming, you will see why i label it semi gaming when i go through my specs

Specs are as follows

PSU: Un-branded Generic 460watt
CPU: Dual Core AMD Athlon x2 64 2.1GHz 4000+ overclocked to 5GHz via clock gen using stock cooler
GPU: AMD Radeon HD 6450 1GB
RAM: 2.75GB DDR2 2x 1GB DDR2 1x 512MB DDR2 + 1 256MB DDR2
HDD's: 1x 1TB Samsung Drive, 1x Western Digital 750GB Drive + 1x Seagate 200GB Drive
DVD/Burner: Xbox360 0880 v3 Philips Benq (for reading dvds and backing up xbox games) + 1x Lite-on iHas324B cross-flashed as a 524B (for burning dvd's and xbox games)
PCI Sata: JMB363 RAID Sata Card (used to flash xbox360 dvd drives)

All of this is packed into a iCute case, you can see i have a basic setup for low gaming but it handles quite well, check the images below for a look at it all please do excuse the image quality im using my Sony Ericsson W810i to take them xD

Here is the frontal view of the PC.

Please feel free to let me know what you think and what you recommend for my next upgrades, i'm ideally wanting to stay on the AMD path but i am looking into a intel Q6600 setup

Wow, you have your processor overclocked way to much, it'll overheat especially when it's on the carpet.

Strangely it runs beautifully on stock cooler permanently at 12 volt, its usually on stock speed but when im playing minecraft it gets upped to 5GHz

Well as long as it's stable, good job. Just seemed to much for a Dual Core with default clocks at 2.1GHz then overclocked to 5GHz.

Its massively stable i did have problems at first as im using a OEM board i can't OC via bios so software was only option and without moving things up a certain amount and order would kill it but its really stable and seems happy now, i have seen a 1.66GHz atom overclocked to 5GHz they had to use a tank of liquid nitrogen to cool it :L

EDIT: AMD CPU's are very flexible, which is why i favour them

Its been running like this for nearly 6 months :L if it dies it dies, its only at 50 degrees on 5GHz OC so i think its coping massively well

There is no way you can run that processor at that speed with a stock cooler.. let alone get up to 5ghz on that old as AMD processor that already runs hot even with the stock cooler. That processor MIGHT be able to get to 3ghz but definitely not on a stock cooler.
