I think the rule is still too lenient. People will still abuse the flop rule for many reasons.

First, you won't get fined that much money considering most basketball players make at least a million, losing a couple grand won't matter that much if it means having a better chance of winning a game.

You also need six or more to be suspended. It should be three or something because players don't flop much until the big games which is the playoffs and maybe the last few weeks of the season. That gives a player five flopping opportunities before he gets suspended. That's plenty.

This rule won't establish a decrease in players flopping. It'll just give players more of a chance to flop because now they know that all they'd lose is money for the first five. Before, they didn't know the consequence and they might've thought a suspension could've been enforced.
