I'm not sure if this will help or not but go into your Task Manager (CTRL + Shift + Esc) and go to the Processes Tab, and end some tasks that are taking up to much memory.

There's often this thing on my Computer that uses 2,000,000+ K of memory it's called Windows Media Sharing service or something so I always have to end that task then my PC runs fine..

I dunno man, just go through and end some programs that you aren't using.. try not to mess with explorer.exe or something like that though..

Go to Start, then go to Computer, then right click it then click Properties.

Then you will find your computer's specs including the total RAM.

Just a suggestion as well, disable some startup programs as well. They take up unnecessary RAM.
