Have you checked for a wifi button? i know alot of laptops use either a function key or have one on the laptop to enable/disable wifi.

Im having the same problem but I have a dell and I'm on XP.

You either need to push a switch on (may be on the side of your PC)

or you might need to install a driver, which is my problem

It could be the things said above, but do you have your wireless router/gateway setup for the internet?

Can other devices connect to the internet wirelessly? If so than it could be just an issue with your pc.

Make sure the "WiFi" button is on.

If all fails you can buy a WiFi USB adapter.
