After some short lived success, the group LMFAO is no more. L.A. duo Redfoo and SkyBlu announced on Friday that they will no longer wiggle wiggle wiggle wiggle wiggle it for fans.
Redfoo broke the news to LMFAO fans, announcing that the groups members wanted to pursue their own individual projects.
Speaking to News.com.au, Refoo said:
I feel like weve been doing this for so long, five or six years. And were kind of like saying, well, lets just do whats natural and just kind of explore that, instead of like forcing it all the time.
While Redfood says the groups members were all moving in different directions creatively, he did not rule out more music from LMFAO in the future.
The group busted onto the scene in 2009 with the album Party Rock, which spurred a Grammy nomination for Best Dance/Electronica album. In 2011, LMFAO relased Sorry for Party Rocking, which spurred the hugely successful track Sexy And I Know.
Along with his own pursuit of solo music, Redfood also announced that he would launch a fashion line, perhaps turning him into the next renaissance man of the music industry. According to Redfoo:
All the music that Im going to make is always going to be LMFAO-ish. I was really passionate about bringing party music to the world, so I will always be making some kind of party music.
Are you surprised by LMFAOs breakup given the fact that they just recently rose to the highest of constant airplay and fan adoration

The songs where good for a few times played but just got old. I am not worried about it I was never a fan of them.

I'm actually quite surprised, they work very well together.
And It'll be interesting seeing them work as individuals.
