I want to buy a new tablet that costs $200 at max like the Nexus 7 for instance but I can't seem to really make up my mind. I don't want a generic tablet and it must be 7 inches. I don't like the 10 inch ones. They're too bulky and unnecessary for what I will need it. If anyone can suggest any others that suit my needs, let me know.

It's pretty much between the Nexus 7 and Kindle Fire HD. It basically comes down to which interface you prefer. Vanilla Android 4.1 or Amazon's heavy overlay on Android 4.0.

Nexus 7 is undoubtedly the best tablet for that price range. I honestly can't believe that it is that cheap, it is an amazing device. I have a Kindle fire 1st gen and i hate the amazon layout, it doesn't feel like an android tablet at all and the amazon store absolutely sucks compare to the play store.

I agree with what r00t said. It's a very reliable one.

Thanks for helping out guys! I decided to buy the Nexus 7. Should be getting it sometime this week. I didn't like the overlay of the Amazon tablet anyways. I'll just root it and plug in my USB.

I would wait for the ipad mini as they will have the latest technology and because of the size maybe a smaller price tag.

Last time I checked,an iPad doesn't cost $200. And the nexus 7 has a better CPU as well. Plus, I already have a 4s. No need for more Apple stuff.

The cheapest iPod Touch is $300. I highly doubt they'll match the price of a Nexus. If they do, they'll be losing money. No logic in that. :|
