Clever Little Story

This is a story told by my teacher but I thought it was pretty funny.
There are three male dogs on one side of the street.
One is a Great Dahne, the second one is a Golden Retriever, and the third is a little Bulldog.
A French Poodle is seen walking across the street and all the dogs notice her. One of them whistles the tune "woo-hoo".
The French Poodle turns and spots all the three dogs staring at poodle. Se walks over to them and says
" which ever one of you boys can use lever and cheese in a sentence can take me out to dinner."
The Great Dahne steps up and says " I hate levers, and I hate cheese."
The poodle says " That is just to negative."
The smart Golden Retriever steps up and says " I love levers, and I love cheese."
The poodle says " it is positive, but not so creative.
The bulldog then smiles with delight and says " Guys lever alone, cheese mine."
