Im 17, and I just can't wait to move out. I love my parents and Im not moving out because of bad parents I just want to live on my own. I was just wondering what i'm in for when i move out. Like, what i'm going to have to deal with.

I suppose it'd be scary if you were on your own.
A lot of fun if you were with flat mates (friends etc)
And a nice way to settle down if you were with a partner

Have you thought of who you're going to live with when you do get your own place? or is it too early?

That's what I said, until I calculated the cost of everything. I'm 18 now, so I will live with my mom as long as possible. Times are tough man...

I share an apartment with a roommate.. if that counts.

I like it, you have a lot more freedom.. but you also have more responsibilities such as washing clothes, cleaning and vacuuming the house, do dishes, taking out trash, buying groceries, cooking your own food, and paying bills. I probably left a few things out, but you get the idea.
