My budget was $1200, and I believe it might remain that. However, I wanted to see what I could get if I raised my budget to $1500. So, I thought this build is a nice cheap overkill for $1500.
What are your thoughts on this build? Be polite. I just want kind criticism.

I am total noob when it comes to computer builds. This is my very first build. The main things I will be doing is Hardcore gaming, and HD video editing. 32Gb of RAM seems like a overkill, but I want fastest HD rendering speeds possible. Along with the $500 GPU.

Added each individual part so you can view with ease

Bit over budget, but it works.

I can't say much about your case or suggest a better one, not my best department.

Get this motherboard, you only need 8GB ram and this Mobo comes with a free good kit! Trust me, your computer will never use more than ~6GB.

Get an i5, this one. You don't need an i7.

Definitely this SSD, best deal out there at the moment.

There's no reason to drop .5k on a graphics card, a 660 Ti will destroy any game! I love this one, I has it and luvz it!

I thought i7 have greater performance over i5 processors from hyper-threading.
GPU seems legit. Can it handle BF3 with max settings with 60-90 FPS?
Also I thought for editing the more the RAM, the faster the rendering time.

You don't need an i7. I know a lot, not all, but a lot. I know you don't need the i7, the performance increase in gaming will barely be noticeable if at all. In the kind of editing you're doing an i5 will do the job just fine. Until you understand what kind of editing and other fancy things you really need an i7 for, you should go with a 3570k.

I am a video editor myself. I do it on a daily basis, never have I needed more than 8GB ram. Trust me you're fine with 8GB.

Alright. Thanks man saved me a lot of money. I'm most likely going to buy this stuff. Comes out cheaper then my budget, and the performance is almost the same for a lot less. I sent in a build request for a $1200 build for a pc awhile back for a pc that is for editing and gaming. Im stilling waiting for it to be completed. When it's completed I'm going to compare it to this build. However in a few days if its not completed, Im just going to buy this build. Tired of waiting for a legit pc.

There are some super i5's out there which will outperform an i7. Take a look at the i5 3570.

Also, have a look at the Radeon HD 7850, it's cheaper than the 660 Ti (Don't get me wrong, it's the preferred choice, but if you're on a budget the Radeon is better. If not, go with the 660 Ti)

Also, I like the [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] case over the one you chose (creator of the thread's choice).

The case I chose is a full tower. That one is a mid tower. I wont have much room with that.

A full tower is meant for people who put 2+ GPUs, extra large mobos, and sometimes even 2 CPUs. You'll be fine.

Thoughts OP?

Ended up integrating both of the builds together. Decided to go with the GTX 670 like you said.
Bought everything, but the video card today.
Thanks for all the information.
