Josh: America but i accidentally put the locale in japan
Jennifer: I understand. That is the issue that you are currently running into right now. You are not able to redeem a US code on Japan gamertag. You will need to either return the code back to the retailer. I would recommend printing out this chat has proof you didn't redeem the code and that you cannot redeem the code onto your account. Your other option is to create a gamertag in the United States and then you can redeem the code onto that gamertag.
